Summary and Analysis.
There were two Indian boys.Their names were Victor and Thomas. When they were baby,Thomas's parents died because of fire.Victor's father(Arnold) was a heavy drinker and he got a trouble with his wife. So he left somewhere.
One day,Victor and his mom heard some news about Arnold's residence. Victor wanted to find his father and he went on a journey with Thomas.Finally they found Arnold's residence but he already died.While he made a travel,he decided to forgive his father.

Relation to case study.
We can see some unfair discrimination in this movie and chapter 10.
In this movie,Victor and Thomas took the bus.There were lots of Americans in there and they gazed at their face strangely.Their attitude was similar with the people who were in Chapter 10.

Reaction to Film.
Actually, While i was watching this movie,i was not impressed.I was a little bit angry.I could't understand Arnold's irresponsibility. But after the movie finished, i could understand his conduct.One thing that i liked in this movie was Thomas. When he called victor with very funny intonation, i laughed a lot. Even though His appearance was a little ridiculous, i liked his funny intonation and action.

Francine Drake is a sophomore student in her University.She is an very independent and extrovert girl.One day,Tony and Joe visited her house and they hanged out together.However,while they were hang out,some american students teased them.They were angry so they went to the dean and campus police to report,but they didn't solve their problems.They were angry about racism.

B.They have to argue and fight with the students.

ⅲ.Evaliation of possible solutions.
A.advantages:If they ignore the students,they will not tease them anymore.
disadvantages:The students will fed up with teasing Francine and Tony because thwy ignore the students,so the students will find other students who they want to tease and then the students will bother other students.

B.advantages:If they fight with the students strongly,they will afraid of Tony and Francine.And then they will stop teasing them.
disadvantages:The students are very bad and dangerous people.So if they try to fight with the students,they will get a dangerous situations and the students will bother them more.

C.advantages:If they break their relationship,nobody tease and bother them.So they will be able to spend their time more comfortable.
disadvantages:It is too short time to break up their relationship.Even though some students tease them,Francine and Tony have to overcome it.The power of love is strong.

A:Ignoring is the best way i think.If they try to argue with the students,that make them more interesting.That is the things that the students can feel very fun.If they keep ignore them,the srudents will not bother them.

ⅰ.Statement of the problem.Maria Franchino is from Venezuela.Now,she is studying in America University.She had a roommate.Her name is Jennifer Robertson.When Maria met Jennifer first,she thought Jennifer is a very good roommate but Jennifer had a bad habbit that bring her boyfriend in their room and she didn't clean the room.So Maria got a stress of these reasons.

ⅱ.Suggestion of possible solutions.A-Maria has to tell to Jennifer directly.She can suggest the limit time which she can bring her boyfriend.
B-Maria can tell to the main staff of her dorm.
C-Maria has to ignore them.

ⅲ.Evaluation of possible solutions.
A-advantage:If they make the time rule,Maria doesn't have to get stress.
disadvantage:If she tell to Jennifer about the time rule,Jennifer and her boyfriend will be very displeased.So their relationship will be bad.

B-advantage:The main staff in the dorm will be able to help her.The staff can order to Jennifer and the staff can move her to other rooms or dorms.
disadvantage:To interference the third person in their prblem is not good solution.This way also will be able to make their relationship badly.

C-advantage:She has to stand for it.If Jennifer and her boyfriend come to the room,Maria can go outside and spend time with her friend.

Rejesh is usually late in class.Because of his lateness,his teacher is angry but rejesh cannot understand about lateness.He was confusing and annoying different punctuality between his country and America university.

A.Rejesh has to be on time everyday.
B.If he is late,teacher should give a penalty to him.
C.Teacher has to announce to rejesh's parents about his lateness.

A.He will be able to get good grades.
B.Because penalty is a serious problem to him, he will be on time everyday.
C.If this problem is announced to his parents, it will be a big problem so he will follow teacher's notice well.

C-If teacher tells to rejesh's parents, they will shocked and they will scold rejesh.
Parents will disappointed with him and they will tell their disappointing feeling.So maybe Rejesh is also shocked and he will obey the school's rule.

Dita feels very hard because she cannot catch up her new college life in America.Her English skills are nat good and she doesn't like American foods.

A.She has to go back to Indonesia
B.She has to look for a tutor in her University.
C.She has to visit counseling office and then shs can consult with counselor.

ⅲ.Evaluation of possible solutions.
A.advantage-IF she goes back to Indonesia,she will not ger stress.
disadvantage-She cannot get a chance to study in America and cannot get a scholarship.

B.advantage- If she gets an English tutor,her English skills will be improve.
disadvantage- The tutor cannot take care og her because toter is a student.Also during study time,maybe they get a chat together.

C.advantage-Counselor will help her problems and worries.She is stressful about culture shock so while she consult with counselor,she can feel comfortable.
disadvantage-Counselor can understand her problems and feelings but the counselor cannot feel sympathy deeply.

C- I think it is the best way.Counselor cannot understand all her feelings but the counselor can advice to her and it will make her comfortable.

Summary
This movie shows that like a battle of two rival fraternity clubs. There were two fraternity clubs. One club name is Delta House and another club name is Omega house. Delta students were troublemaker and Omega house students were elegant and gentle. Delta students enjoyed toga party, stealing, alcohol and road trip. For these reasons, Dean wormer who is a rector of that college didn't like Delta students and he decided to expel them. He made that plan with Omege students. However, Delta students also made a big plan in Home Coming Day. During the parade show, Delta students were ruined that parade.

Relation to Case study.
We can find common things between this movie and Maria.
In this movie, American students were not conservative to deal with sexual issues.It is also not a big problem to Jenny.However, it can be very unfamilar and weird things to some students who were from other country.

Reaction to Film.
This movie was the best movie i've ever seen in American culture.Especially, i really liked Eric.He was very handsome and gor a leadership.Most students in delta house were trouble maker.They looked like kids but i liked their humaor and jokes.Through this movie, i could know about real University life of Amerecan students.
Anyway, it was very good movie and it gave me lots of laugh.

Animal house - Summary of Opening Scene.

Two students walked together and they went into the Omege house. Some guy introduced two pretty girls and others in there. And then they went out there and they moved to another house. Before they got into there, some mannequin fell down in front of them and they went into the Delta house. However, that house was too noisy, messy and dirty.One guy ordered beer and talked with girl bartender. In the room, two guys talked together and one guy showed some weird and erotic thing to another guy. At that time, some guy who rode on a bike appeared.

If I were a freshman, I would join to Omega house, because Delta is too dirty and disorderly. I like a party but I don't like a dirty party like that. Omega house looks more gorgeous and elegant.Therefore, I prefer Omega house to Delta house.

Chapter 4 - Time Management- Reaction to the Debate Paragraph..

*Ride a bike to school.

I do not agree it. Riding a bike is too dangerouse.When you ride a bike, you can cause accident.You might be die or hurt and you make others hurt.It happens very easily. Also if you want to ride a bike, you should get a license. Moreover bike is too expensive to students. So i do not agree this opinion.

Chapter 9 - Plagiarism -Case study report.

1.Statement of the problem.
Igor is Russian student.He has to turn in a twenty-five page research paper.It made him annoyance.But his best friend George suggested to him that to buy ready made papers. Igor was worried about that for a moment but finally he got a papers.However, professor perceived that and talked with him.

A.Igor has to tell the truth to professor.
B.He has to asked him to get a chance to rewrite it.
C.He can tell a lie and excuse to professor.

A. advantage-If he tell the truth to professor, he might be forgive him.

-Analysis
Escalante is transferred to new high school(Garfield). But this school was in very poor town and students had a bad attitude. So he wanted to make them hopefully. He teached them with jokes and humors even though students ignired and ridiculed him.But as time went on, students were changed.Escalate asked the test which is able to go to university to school but they were opposed to it. But he againsted them and he extended class during vacation. Fanally, students took a test and they were waiting for test result.But there were some problems. Because the test became unavailable things. A judging committee made the test unavailable and they ordered them take a the test again.So students took a test again and they all passed a test.

-Relation to Case study
This movie and the case study that we learned get a similar situation.
Students couldn't adjusted a school life and they didn't care about their grads. Mei also had a same problem. And the students and Mei have a misunderstanding about teacher.

-Reaction to Film
Actually , when i watched the first scene in this movie , I felt very boring.Because it was made too long times ago. I don't like an old movie. But the more i watch that, the more it was interesting. I liked teacher's jokes and all of his actions.He looked like a comedian. And i also can understand their situation.If i have no interest about school, I don't care my grads and i'll not able to concentrate my school life.Anyway, I was very impressed a method of education and i really like his funny speaking and actions.

A. Definition: Mei is from Chaina and she is a university student.She has a problems.Her English skills are not high, she doesn't paticipate in the disscussions and most of her grades are C or C+. Also she has misunderstanding about teacher.

Summary and Analysis.

Charlotte is a woman who has a photographer husband(John). She followed John to Japan. Her major was philosophy and she seems have a talent but she didn't know what does she have to do. John didn't care about Charlotte. He knows only his works. So Charlotte felt very lonly. Bob who is a movie star, visited Japann to take an advertisement. He also felt lonly and isolated because of unfamiliar culture and difficulty of conversation.
Bob and Charlotte who was staying at same hotel together , couldn't sleep well. So they went out their rooms and met accidentally. They felt same feeling through a situation that can't adapt a new life environment. So they attracted each other. They went sightseeing to the downtown in Tokyo and coversation together so they were close and sympathize their loneliness each other.
But a few days later, Bob leaved to america. Before he leaved Tokyo, he found her in downtown. They hugged and kissed. Bob said something to Charlotte and then he leaved finally.

Chapter 12- Culture Shock -Reaction to the debate paragraph.

I agree that Dita have to make indonesian students. Because if she make her country friends,her mind will be comfortable and she can open her mind easily. Also this way is easy to contact with lots of American friends.Other indonesian junior or senior students already have some American friends so they can help her or give some advice to her. Also they can introduce her to American friends.And they are same country people so they can understand her feelings and can feel sympathy deeply.
So i agree about make indonesian students strongly.
